Recommit | Virgin Active South Africa

I hereby agree that:

My current membership contract with Virgin Active (the “Original Contract”) will, with immediate effect, be renewed for a further fixed term period of 12-months, as confirmed by my election to tick the renewal box for the newly chosen period (the “New Commitment Period”).
As incentive to me agreeing to the New Commitment Period, my monthly instalment will, separately and on each occasion, be reduced by:
- initially, 5% from the list price that would have otherwise applied to the Original Contract at the end of the immediately preceding fixed term (the "Initial Price Discount"); and
- subsequently, 5% from the list price applicable to the Original Contract at the next annual price increase that Virgin Active applies to all its contracts (i.e. this discount is not cumulative to the Initial Price Discount and is only applied to the list price applicable to the Original Contract at the time of the relevant annual price increase) (the “Annual Price Discount”), the Initial Price Discount and the Annual Price Discount are together the “Discounted Price”.
The Discounted Price shall apply for 12 months only, commencing from the effective date of the New Commitment Period.
The Discounted Price will automatically be removed after the New Commitment Period and my monthly instalment will be adjusted to the list price for my membership product applicable at the time.
The current “authority to debit” mandate in the Original Contract shall remain valid and apply to the New Commitment Period as well as apply to any applicable period thereafter, including applying to any monthly instalment price adjustments that may apply from time to time in accordance with the terms stipulated in the Original Contract.
Except for the amendments expressly stipulated in these extension terms and conditions, all other terms and conditions set out in the Original Contract shall remain valid and binding on me without any other alteration or amendment.
Capitalised terms defined in the Original Contract shall, unless expressly defined in these extension terms and conditions, have the same meaning in these extension terms and conditions.
A reasonable cancellation fee will be payable if I wish to cancel my membership before the end of the New Commitment Period.
I understand and acknowledge that my membership continues to be subject to Virgin Active’s membership terms and conditions, its Privacy Policy and the Rule Book, all of which are available on Virgin Active’s website at www.virginactive.co.za
