Looking for gyms in Sandton, Johannesburg? There are quite a few Virgin Actives in and around the Sandton area. Remember, that with a Premier Membership you get access to all our gyms in South Africa. This makes it super easy to train where and when you can.

Virgin Active Sandton is a popular gym with professionals and families living in and going to school and work in the Sandton area. The Club-V in the gym caters to kids (6 weeks – 7 years) and is an access-controlled movement space designed for children. Parents can get a gym workout while their kids are kept moving and happy at the Club-V.

We also have a heated leisure pool for family swim opportunities and Learn-to-Swim lessons. Our Swim Coaches are on hand to help with all your swimming requirements in this pool or in the 25 metre 5-lane lap pool.

In terms of gym equipment, we have everything you need to work on your training goals. A fully loaded strength training area, all the cardio options your heart could desire and a variety of steppers, dumbbells, bands, Bulgarian bags, medicine balls and any other toys you’d need for a workout. Our Personal Trainers are on hand if you are looking for assistance with a structured exercise programme.
