Join Virgin Active between 1 and 15 April 2021 (both dates included), train at Virgin Active 8 times (once a week) in your first 60 days of membership and qualify for a 100% reduction of two months on us.
- • New joiners (hereinafter referred to as “members”) taking up a Virgin Active membership will receive a discount of 100% on their monthly membership fee for June 2021, provided they meet the following qualifying criteria:
- a. Joining on an adult 1 or 2 year membership between 1 and 15 April 2021 (both dates included); and
- b. In order to qualify for 1 months 100% reduction in membership fees, members are required to train a minimum of 4 times on separate days in their 1st 30 days.
- • New joiners (hereinafter referred to as “members”) taking up a Virgin Active membership will receive a discount of 100% on their monthly membership fee for July 2021, provided they meet the following qualifying criteria:
- c. Joining on an adult 1 or 2 year membership between 1 and 15 April 2021 (both dates included); and
- d. In order to qualify for 2 months 100% reduction in membership fees, members are required to train a minimum of 4 times on separate days in their first 30 days as well as 4 times in the next 30 days. (member can still receive a months’ fees reduction in July provided they train 4 x in next 30 days if they miss the first 30 days training requirements)
- • Pro-rata membership fees will not be payable for April 2021.
- • The members’ first debit order will only be for fees in respect of May 2021.
- • Virgin Active will not run a debit order for June and/or July 2021 membership fees for qualifying members.
- • The members’ May debit orders must be successful on first attempt in order for them to qualify for the June / July waiver in fees.
- • If the member’s chosen debit order date is not the 1st of the month, then the debit order for the membership fees for May 2021 will run on the specified date in April 2021 as per the membership agreement.
- • Members paying upfront will pay for 12 months upfront and receive the remainder of April 2021 on us. They will also receive an additional one or two month’s membership for free, added to the end of their contract period, provided they meet the qualifying criteria.
- • The membership needs to be active and authorized on Virgin Active’s membership system by no later than 15 April 2021 in order to qualify.
- • The waiver of the debit order will be based on the membership product that the member is on after the initial 30 days of date of joining. If the member upgrades post this then a debit order for the difference in amounts will run.
- • Exclusions: This offer is not applicable to short term, 3-month, complimentary, Vitality Legacy Club, Virgin Active staff or tenant memberships.
- • Existing members upgrading to Collection Club status qualify for this offer, as well as new joiners at Collection Clubs.
- • This offer will only apply if the member’s Virgin Active account is in good standing and not in arrears.
- • This campaign is applicable to existing members who are members in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
- • The member’s contract must not be cancelled or terminated within the residual cooling-off period or the initial commitment period stipulated in the membership contract, in order to qualify for the discounted fees.
- • If the existing member has paid cash upfront for their membership, then the membership period will be extended by one or two months, depending on the members access count.
- • This promotional offer cannot be exchanged for cash or any other rebate.
- • Facilities and group classes may differ from Club to Club.
- • Should a member elect to “freeze” (i.e. suspend) their membership contract in the first month of joining, while this promotional campaign is running, the discounted fees offer will not be carried over.
